Remains of the Iranian martyrs form Dena frigate repatriated to Iran

The bodies of the Iranian sailors of the frigate Dena, who were martyred in the line of duty following the attack by a U.S. submarine on March 4, 2026, were transferred after several days and upon completion of the necessary legal formalities.
The remains were transported via Mattala International Airport in Sri Lanka and departed for the Islamic Republic of Iran on the night of Friday, March 13, 2026, to be laid to rest in their homeland with full honors and solemn ceremonies.
